Everyone's heard of jewelry parties, right?

Like Tupperware parties only with jewelry. You know the drill, the hostess has to invite some friends, clean the house, maybe make some light snacks and find a sitter for the kids and the husband. Oh yea, then there's the clean up afterward and yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah blah.

And the invitees? Well, if they work they go home, rush to make something for dinner, maybe fight traffic both directions and then hope they don't forget their checkbook or stop by the ATM to get some cash. They might even have to find a sitter for their kids, unless the hubby volunteers.
